Parcel2Go scores highest of the ten UK logistics and courier brands compared, at 7.3 out of 10 on the Whito leaderboard.
Opinion and analysis. Whito read every brand below by hand, using publicly visible activity only: the first five on 12 October 2026 and the five added to make this a top ten on 22 October 2026, against the same fixed anchors and the same ten searches. Each channel is scored 0 to 10, set out under How we scored, so a score describes what we could see on the day, not the quality of the service. Brands cannot pay to appear or to change a score. Where a figure is not published, we say so.
It is easy to think delivery is a price war and marketing is a side issue. The scores say otherwise. The top four on this board all let a sender get a price or book online in a few clicks. Pall-Ex, The APC and Yodel (by InPost), which show no prices, sit in the bottom three.
Parcel2Go scores 7.3, ahead of Evri on 7.0 and CitySprint on 6.4. Of the five added on 22 October, Royal Mail scores highest at 6.0, with postage prices on its homepage and 2 of 10 UK searches, but a Trustpilot rating of 2.3. Reviews are huge in volume for the parcel brands, because recipients review the carrier, but only CitySprint pairs a high rating with regular replies.
Yodel (by InPost) scores lowest at 3.0. Its operating company was renamed InPost Delivery Network Limited on 25 June 2026, and when read on 12 October its homepage showed no social links, no prices and no ads that we could find.

CitySprint, 6.4
CitySprint scores 6.4. Reviews score 10, the only top reviews score here, from 4.9 on 18,567 Trustpilot reviews with replies to 14 of the latest 20. Its website scores 9 for an embedded quote tool and same-day booking, with no prices on the homepage. Paid scores 8 with 23 Google ads and 14 Meta ads. Its Facebook icon points to facebook.com rather than a company page.
Royal Mail, 6.0
Royal Mail scores 6.0, the highest of the five added on 22 October. Its website scores 10 for buying postage online, with letters from 91p and parcels from £3.75 on the homepage. SEO scores 4: royalmail.com appeared for ‘cheap parcel delivery UK’ and ‘business parcel delivery account’. Reviews score 4: 134,168 Trustpilot reviews at 2.3, with no replies on the latest 20. Paid scores 10 with about 300 Google ads and 17 Meta ads.
DHL, 5.1
DHL scores 5.1, level fifth with UPS. The dhl.co.uk address now sends visitors to the UK section of dhl.com, and the dhl.com Trustpilot profile shows 1.2 from 29,512 reviews, so reviews score 4; a separate dhl.co.uk profile holds 98,651 reviews at 4.0. Its website scores 6 for a quote request and business account route, with no prices on the homepage. Paid scores 10 with about 500 Google ads and 11 Meta ads from its DHL, DHL Freight and DHL eCommerce pages.

Reviews score 4: 51,162 Trustpilot reviews at 1.1, the lowest rating here, with no replies on the latest 20. DPD, 4.3
DPD scores 4.3, with paid at 8 for 42 Google ads and 1 Meta ad. Its website scores 10 for sending a parcel online from £2.99. Reviews score 6 from 4.4 on 2,684,470 Trustpilot reviews, with no replies on the latest 20. Two channels hold it back: its homepage links no social platforms, and it shows no email sign-up, account or app link. dpd.co.uk appeared in none of 10 UK searches.
The APC, 4.0
The APC scores 4.0. Reviews score 7 from 4.6 on 321,532 Trustpilot reviews, with no replies on the latest 20. Social scores 6 for six platforms. The rest is thin: its old apc-overnight.com address redirects to apc.co.uk and the brand appears under both names, it shows no prices, captures no email and no Google ads were found, though its page ran 4 Meta ads.
Pall-Ex, 3.7
Pall-Ex scores 3.7. Brand scores 6, level highest, for one name, a clear line about pallet delivery and storage, and three or more recent news mentions, read on 12 October. Its website asks for a tailored quote with no online booking or prices, no email capture was found, no ads were found, and Trustpilot shows 1.8 from 241 reviews.
Yodel (by InPost), 3.0
Yodel (by InPost) scores 3.0, the lowest of the ten. Its homepage showed no social links, no prices and, when read on 12 October, no ads were found in either library. Reviews score 5 from 3.9 on 2,999,665 Trustpilot reviews, with no replies on the latest 20. Email scores 4 for its app and account. yodel.co.uk appeared in none of 10 UK searches.
What the channels show
A price on the page wins
Parcel2Go, Evri, Royal Mail, DPD and UPS all let a sender price or book online and score 10 for website; CitySprint scores 9 with a quote tool. Pall-Ex, The APC and DHL ask for a quote or show no price, and Yodel shows none on its homepage.
Review volume is huge, replies are rare
Evri has 5,738,372 Trustpilot reviews, Yodel 2,999,665 and DPD 2,684,470, because recipients review the carrier. Only CitySprint replies to most of its latest 20. Nine of the ten reply to none of their latest 20.
Search goes to brokers and comparison sites
Parcel2Go appeared in 4 of 10 UK searches and Royal Mail in 2. Broker and comparison sites such as Parcel Monkey, Interparcel and ParcelBroker filled many of the rest, and same-day courier searches went to specialists like Gophr and eCourier.
Social is not a given
DPD and Yodel link no social platforms from their homepages, and CitySprint’s Facebook icon points nowhere useful. The APC links six platforms, the most here.
Key lessons for any courier or haulage business
Publish a starting price
Parcel2Go shows £2.39 and DPD £2.99 on their homepages. A pallet or same-day firm can publish a guide price for a standard job on common routes.
Reply to every review
CitySprint replies to 14 of its latest 20 and is the only brand to score 10 for reviews. Nine of the ten reply to none.
Give regular senders an account
Parcel2Go and Evri both offer business accounts and volume discounts. A small courier can offer a simple account with a monthly invoice.
Check your social links
Two of the ten link no social platforms and one links to the wrong place. A working link to one active page beats five dead icons.
Keep one name
Yodel is now Yodel by InPost and APC appears as both APC Overnight and The APC. If you rebrand, redirect every old address and change every profile on the same day.
Steal this playbook
Five moves from this leaderboard, ranked by return on effort.
- Reply to your latest 20 reviews. Nine of the ten reply to none; CitySprint is the exception and the only 10.
- Put a starting price on your homepage. Every brand in the top four lets a sender price or book online.
- Offer regular senders an account. Parcel2Go scores 8 on email with an account, credit and an app.
- Check every social link. DPD and Yodel link none from their homepages.
- Keep one name everywhere. Two of the ten are mid-rename or split across two names.

How we scored
Who is on the board. Ten UK delivery brands a small business sending goods is likely to use, spanning models: a national parcel carrier selling direct to SMEs (Evri, formerly Hermes), a national carrier mid-rebrand under new ownership (Yodel, now run by InPost Delivery Network Limited), a same-day courier network with 26 service centres (CitySprint), a member-owned pallet network (Pall-Ex), an online parcel comparison platform (Parcel2Go), the national postal service (Royal Mail), two international carriers with UK networks (UPS and DHL), a national parcel carrier (DPD) and a national parcel network of independent depots (The APC, formerly APC Overnight). Chosen for relevance and size, not marketing strength.
When we looked. The board launched with five brands, read on 12 October 2026. Five more were added on 22 October 2026 to make a top ten, read against the same anchors below, with the same ten searches run again on that date. The first five were not re-read, so their figures are as of 12 October 2026. Meta Ad Library counts for brands added on 22 October were read on 23 October 2026, after the library was unavailable on 22 October. The first five keep the Paid scores read with both libraries on 12 October 2026.
- Social: which platforms the brand links to from its own site, and whether we could see recent posting and video.
- Website: 2 for a brochure page, 4 with a contact route on mobile, 6 with a page per service and a one-step enquiry, 8 with prices or ranges and registration numbers shown, 10 with online booking, an online checkout or an instant priced quote.
- Email: visible capture only, as we did not subscribe test inboxes for this edition. 2 for a bare newsletter form, 4 for a customer account, 6 for an app, 7 for a newsletter plus an app, up to 10 for a loyalty or app ecosystem with personal offers.
- SEO: ten UK searches for this sector, run through a standard web search API (12 October 2026 for the first five brands, 22 October 2026 for the five added; not personalised, no location set beyond the town in the query); we counted how many returned the brand’s own site in the top ten results. 0 of 10 scores 2, 1 to 2 scores 4, 3 to 4 scores 6, 5 to 6 scores 8, 7 or more scores 10, plus 1 for a substantial advice library. The searches: cheap parcel delivery UK; send a parcel UK; same day courier UK; pallet delivery UK; business parcel delivery account; same day courier London; courier Manchester; pallet delivery Birmingham; parcel collection Leeds; same day courier Glasgow.
- Paid: the Google Ads Transparency Centre (UK, last 30 days, by domain) and the Meta Ad Library (UK, active ads, counted by the advertiser page). 2 for nothing found in either, 4 for active in one with fewer than 10 ads, 6 for active in both or 10+ in one, 8 for active in both with 10+ in at least one, 10 for 50+ Google ads and 10+ Meta ads. Paid describes visible activity, not quality. A low paid score is not a fault.
- Reviews: a fixed formula. Rating (4.7+ scores 4, 4.5 to 4.69 scores 3, 4.0 to 4.49 scores 2, 3.5 to 3.99 scores 1) plus volume (10,000+ scores 4, 1,000+ scores 3, 100+ scores 2, 20+ scores 1) plus replies to the latest 20 reviews (half or more scores 2, some scores 1). Where Trustpilot sends a brand’s address to a parent company profile, we used that profile and say so.
- Brand: five checks worth 2 each: the same name and logo everywhere, one clear positioning line, a distinctive asset used for years, three or more independent press mentions in 90 days, and named people or expertise on the site. We award only what we could verify on the day.
These anchors are fixed for this edition, so the ten scores can be read against each other, allowing for the days between the two reading dates. Boards published before October 2026 used scores relative to the other brands on the board, so compare across boards with care.
Common questions
Which logistics or courier brand scores highest on the Whito leaderboard?
Parcel2Go scores highest of the ten UK logistics and courier brands compared, at 7.3 out of 10, ahead of Evri at 7.0 and CitySprint at 6.4. It shows a starting price on its homepage, quotes instantly, gives senders several reasons to register and appeared in 4 of our 10 UK searches. The score measures public marketing evidence, not delivery performance.
Which delivery brand scores lowest?
Yodel (by InPost) scores lowest at 3.0 out of 10. Its operating company was renamed InPost Delivery Network Limited on 25 June 2026, and its homepage showed no social links and no prices. We found no Google or Meta ads for it in the period checked, and none of the latest 20 Trustpilot reviews had a reply.
How do courier brands perform on reviews?
Volumes are huge because recipients review the carrier: about 5.7 million reviews for Evri, about 3 million for Yodel and about 2.7 million for DPD. Replies are rare. Only CitySprint replied to most of its latest 20 Trustpilot reviews, and with a 4.9 rating from 18,567 it is the only brand to score 10 for reviews.
How do Royal Mail, DPD, UPS and DHL score?
Royal Mail scores 6.0, DHL and UPS 5.1 and DPD 4.3. Royal Mail, UPS and DPD all let you send a parcel online with a price, but all four reply to none of their latest 20 Trustpilot reviews, and only Royal Mail appeared in any of our 10 UK searches.
What can a small courier or haulage firm copy from these brands?
Publish a starting price, as Parcel2Go and DPD do. Reply to every review, as CitySprint does. Offer regular business senders an account or a small volume discount. And check your website’s social links, since DPD and Yodel link none from their homepages.
