This page lists every cookie whito.co.uk sets, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts. It was checked against the live site on 14 September 2026.
The short version
- Until you answer the cookie banner, this site sets nothing in your browser. We checked this on a clean browser with no history of the site.
- We use one analytics tool, Google Analytics, and it only runs if you say yes.
- We run no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no profiling. There is no Meta pixel, no Microsoft Clarity and no advertising network on this site.
- You can change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the banner.
Strictly necessary
These are set so the site works and so your cookie choice is remembered. They do not need consent, and they only appear once you have answered the banner.

Between them these two record what you agreed to, when, and which version of the banner you saw, so we can show what was agreed if anyone asks. They are set only after you answer the banner.
Analytics, only if you agree
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read, so we know what to write next. Our measurement ID is G-2QMNWFMPL5. It is loaded through Google Tag Manager, and Google Consent Mode holds it in a denied state until you accept. We do not use it to identify you, we do not link it to advertising, and we do not share it with anyone.

Google publishes a two year default for both of these. Chrome caps any cookie at 400 days, which is the figure we measured on the live site and the one in the table.
Things that load from another company but set no cookie
Some parts of the page are served by other companies. They do not put anything in your browser, but your browser does connect to them, which means they receive your IP address and the page you are on.
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com) serves the typefaces the site is set in. - iubenda (
cdn.iubenda.com,embeds.iubenda.com,idb.iubenda.com) serves the consent banner itself and records the consent. - Google Tag Manager (
www.googletagmanager.com) loads the analytics tag described above, in a denied state until you accept. - Hostinger Reach (
cdn-reach.hostinger.com) runs the newsletter sign-up form.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout pages. Any cookie set during payment is set by Stripe on Stripe’s domain, under Stripe’s own policy, and we never see your card details.
The Visibility Check
The free Visibility Check sets no cookie. The result is held on our server for about an hour so repeat checks are fast, and then deleted. To stop the tool being scraped we count checks from one connection for an hour using a hashed form of the IP address. That is explained in full in our privacy policy.
Staff accounts
If you log in to the site, WordPress sets session cookies so you stay logged in. Only Whito staff have accounts. Visitors never get these.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie preferences link in the banner at any time, or clear cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and nothing on the site stops working if you say no.
The machine generated list
Our consent provider also maintains its own scan based list at iubenda.com. The page you are reading is the one we check by hand against the live site, and it is the one to rely on if the two ever disagree.
Keeping this accurate
We check this list against the live site whenever we add or remove a tool, and at least once a quarter. If you find something set in your browser that is not listed here, tell us at hello@whito.co.uk and we will fix the page.
