Market Opportunity Report
Before you enter a market, expand into a region or launch a service, see what the market actually looks like. Dated figures from official sources, who leads, what customers pay and where the gaps are.
The problem
Market reports from the big research firms are expensive, broad and often a year old. Free statistics are scattered across government sites and hard to read.
So most decisions to expand get made on gut feel and a few Google searches. That is fine until the money is spent.
Who it is for
- UK businesses planning to expand to a new region or service
- Founders testing whether a market is worth entering
- Investors and lenders who want an independent read before a decision
- Trade bodies and suppliers who need a picture of a sector
What Whito delivers
Market overview. What the market is, how it works and how it is changing, in plain English.
Industry statistics. Business counts, sizes and trends from official sources such as the ONS, Companies House and the relevant regulator’s register, each with its date.
Market make-up. How many firms, how big, and where they are.
Competitor landscape. The firms Google and AI tools name most often in the towns that matter to you.
Geographic opportunities. Areas where there are fewer firms for the number of businesses or people, where the data allows that comparison.
Prices and trends. Published price ranges and changes we can find, with sources.
Gaps and recommendations. Where the opportunity looks real, where it does not, and what we would check next.
What you receive
- A PDF report with charts drawn only from real, dated data
- The raw spreadsheet file (CSV) behind every chart and table
- A one-page summary for a board, partner or lender
- Written answers to your follow-up questions for 30 days
Every finding carries its source and the date we collected it. If we could not confirm something, the report says so.

Your report gives you a snapshot of your market today. Whito can help you understand what is changing tomorrow.
Markets do not stand still after a report is written. Prices move, new firms register and the businesses customers are pointed to change.

What paying Whito cannot buy
- A better score, a higher place in any list, or a listing that looks better than another firm’s.
- A softer, kinder or more favourable research finding, in a report you buy or on the public site.
- A promise that ChatGPT, Gemini, Google or anyone else will recommend you. Nobody can honestly promise that.
- Any change to Whito’s independent research. Paid work is kept separate from what we publish, and you are treated exactly like a business that pays nothing.

Questions
Can you cover any industry?
Any UK industry where there is enough public data to say something true. If we think the data is too thin, we tell you before you pay, or we refund you.
Do you run surveys?
No. We use official statistics, public registers, published prices and what search engines and AI tools show. That keeps every figure checkable.
How is this different from a Whito Data file?
A Whito Data file is the data behind a study we have already published. A Market Opportunity Report is new research on the market and question you choose, with a written analysis.
Will it be published on Whito?
No. Your report is yours. It never appears in Whito’s research section, and it never changes what Whito publishes.
Is VAT added?
No. Whito Ltd is not VAT registered, so £1,280 is the total you pay.
What if we cannot agree the scope?
If we cannot agree the scope in writing, we refund you in full.
