What we will never charge you for
The things other directories sell are the things we refuse to.
- A better position. You cannot pay to rank higher on Whito. Nobody can, at any price.
- Pay-per-lead. We do not sell you customers or charge for each enquiry. That is selling placement with a different name on it.
- Being listed at all. The listing is free, permanently. There is no paid tier of the directory.
- Reviews. We do not invent them, buy them, or sell them.
Common questions
Is it really free to be listed?
Yes. Claiming and keeping a verified listing costs nothing, and there is no paid version of it. We removed our paid listing tiers because charging for placement sits badly with giving honest advice.
So how do you make money?

Do I need anything before Whito Membership?
No. Whito Membership builds its own baseline in month one, so you can start from wherever you are.
Is there a contract?
No. Whito Membership is monthly and you cancel in two clicks. Cancelling never removes your free listing.
Will you run my marketing for me?
No. We are not an agency and we are not becoming one. We tell you what to fix and why. You do it, or hand it to whoever does your marketing. That separation is what makes our advice worth paying for.
How is this different from Yell or Checkatrade?
They sell you placement and leads. We sell you the truth about whether you are being found, and give the listing away.
