What the free sample shows
We checked 16 agencies in Leeds and Bradford on 29 October 2026. These are the agencies AI assistants named when we asked for home care in those cities in September. In the full file, every agency in each area is included, not just the ones AI names.
- The middle rating report was 3.2 years old. 7 of the 16 were more than five years old.
- 13 of 16 linked to an active company at Companies House. 2 could not be linked by name, and 1 is run by the council.
- 4 of 16 had no website listed on the CQC register.
- Of the 11 websites we could read, 1 showed a price, and that was a national rate, not a local one.

Rating report age is the time from the latest CQC report date to 29 October 2026. “Not resolved” means we could not link the provider name to one company with confidence; it does not mean anything is wrong. A missing price or website is not a sign of poor care. Contains CQC data licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

How we make it
- Every home care agency location on the CQC register in each council area is included. Nothing is sampled out.
- Every field carries the date we read it and where it came from.
- AI questions are asked by a person, by hand, with the town in the question. We record the date and settings, and repeat some questions to see how much answers vary on the same day.
- A second checker re-codes a tenth of the rows and every row we could not resolve.
- We report facts. We do not score, rank or star agencies.
Limits: a CQC rating describes a service on the date it was inspected. Website checks cover pages reachable from the home page. AI answers vary by session and day, so the AI columns show what we saw on the collection date, not what every user sees. Edition 1 covers England only.
Rules that do not bend
- Nobody pays to appear, to move or to be removed.
- Any agency can ask for a factual correction, free. Corrections go to every buyer and are logged on our corrections page.
- The method is public. Read how Whito makes money.

Questions
What is Home Care Market Watch?
A file, updated every quarter, with one row for every CQC-registered home care agency in a set of council areas. Each row shows the agency’s latest CQC rating and how old it is, its Companies House status, its website, whether it publishes a price, and what AI assistants said about it when we asked.
Which areas does it cover?
The first edition covers Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield. The CQC care directory dated 28 October 2026 lists 436 home care agency locations across those three council areas: Leeds 243, Bradford 111, Wakefield 82. More areas can be added on request.
How much does it cost?
£2,800 a year for four quarterly editions, paid upfront. A single edition is £1,280. Wider coverage or sharing across a large organisation is priced in writing. No VAT is added because Whito Ltd is not VAT registered.
When does the first edition arrive?
We build it after you order. Order by 4 December 2026 and the first edition arrives by 15 January 2027. If we cannot deliver it, you get a full refund.
Can an agency pay to change its row?
No. Nobody pays to appear, to move or to be removed. Factual errors are corrected free, for anyone, and the corrected file goes to every buyer.
Why does the free sample not show ratings?
Whito does not reprint individual CQC ratings on its free pages. The paid file carries each rating with its date, straight from CQC, so you can see how old it is.
See the market row by row, not as a summary.
