What Is the Month-Seven Price?

WHITO GLOSSARY · MEASURED DEFINITIONS

The price a software subscription reaches once its introductory discount ends, usually after six months. It is the only price Whito’s software waste index uses: Xero’s Grow plan is £444 a year at the month-seven price.

The number: UK Software Waste Index.

What it means in practice

Intro pricing exists to be forgotten. The advert price lasts six months; the direct debit lasts years, and budgets built on the advert price are wrong by design.

Price every subscription at month seven before you sign, and put a renewal-review date in the calendar for month six.

Whito stage: Any stage. Use it before you sign anything.
