Parcel2Go scores highest of the five UK logistics and courier brands compared, at 7.3 out of 10 on the Whito leaderboard.
Opinion and analysis. Whito read every brand below by hand on 12 October 2026, using publicly visible activity only. Each channel is scored 0 to 10 against fixed anchors, set out under How we scored, so a score describes what we could see on the day, not the quality of the service. Brands cannot pay to appear or to change a score. Where a figure is not published, we say so.
It is easy to think delivery is a price war and marketing is a side issue. The scores say otherwise. The three brands that let a sender get a price or book online in a few clicks, Parcel2Go, Evri and CitySprint, all score 6.4 or more. The two that do not, Pall-Ex and Yodel (by InPost), score 3.7 and 3.0.
The pattern holds across channels. The top three advertise steadily, link to several social platforms and run accounts that bring senders back. Reviews are huge in volume for the parcel brands, because recipients review the carrier, but only CitySprint pairs a high rating with regular replies.
Yodel (by InPost) scores lowest at 3.0. Its operating company was renamed InPost Delivery Network Limited on 25 June 2026, and its homepage currently shows no social links, no prices and no ads that we could find in the period checked.

Company verdicts
Parcel2Go, 7.3
Parcel2Go scores 7.3, the highest of the five. As a comparison platform it shows prices on the homepage, ‘Send from only £2.39 (£1.99 exc VAT)’, and quotes instantly by destination, size and weight across more than 180 services (website 10). It gives senders several reasons to register: a footer signup, Refer a Friend, PrePay credit with a 2% bonus on a £200 top-up, a Business Account and an app (email 8). Its site appeared in 4 of our 10 UK searches, the most on the board, plus a point for its Content Hub (SEO 7). It ran about 200 Google ads and 27 active Meta ads. The clearest gap is reviews: 4.4 on Trustpilot from 214,965, but none of the latest 20 had a reply.
Evri, 7.0
Evri scores 7.0. Its homepage does something no rival does: it prices its own service against Royal Mail, for example 0 to 1kg at £3.29 against £5.55, and states the date it checked Royal Mail’s prices, 1 July 2026 (website 10). It offers SME, Corporate and Frequent Seller accounts, the last promising up to 50% off for 40 or more parcels a month (email 6). It ran about 2,000+ Google ads and 58 active Meta ads, the most on Meta of the five, and passed the press check (brand 6). The company was renamed from Hermes Parcelnet Limited on 15 May 2024. The clearest gap is review replies: 4.1 from 5,738,372 on Trustpilot, with none on the latest 20.
CitySprint, 6.4
CitySprint scores 6.4 and has the strongest reviews on the board: 4.9 on Trustpilot from 18,567, with replies to 14 of the latest 20 (reviews 10). Its site has an embedded quote tool and a ‘Book a Same Day delivery’ button, and says its 26 service centres are close by with telephone support (website 9). It ran 23 Google ads and 14 Meta ads (paid 8). Its news covers a 2026 launch of CitySprint Haulage and £348k of government funding for EV charging at 15 service centres. Business accounts are the only email route, with no newsletter (email 4). The clearest gap is small but visible: its footer Facebook icon links to facebook.com itself rather than a company page.
Pall-Ex, 3.7
Pall-Ex scores 3.7. The member-owned pallet network, jointly owned by its senior management and UK shareholder members, shows its scale on the homepage: 27 hubs across Europe, 1.7 million UK postcodes covered and more than 4 million pallets a year in the UK. It links to four social platforms (social 6) and passed the press check (brand 6). But a small business cannot price a pallet on the site: there is a Tailored Quote request and a contact page, with no online booking or prices (website 6). We found no email capture and no ads. The clearest gap is reviews: 1.8 on Trustpilot from 241, with no replies to the latest 20.
Yodel (by InPost), 3.0
Yodel (by InPost) scores 3.0, the lowest of the five, and is part-way through a change of ownership and name. Its operating company was renamed from Yodel Delivery Network Limited to InPost Delivery Network Limited on 25 June 2026, and the site is branded ‘Yodel by InPost’. The homepage offers tracking, a Send section, Yodel Direct for multiple parcels and business solutions, but no prices (website 6). The app supports accounts and delivery preferences (email 4). Reviews score 5 on volume: 3.9 from 2,999,665, with no replies to the latest 20. We found no social links, no ads and no top-ten result in our 10 searches. The clearest gap is that its homepage gives no route to follow the brand.
What the channels show
A visible price decides the website score
Parcel2Go and Evri both score 10 for website because a sender sees a price on the homepage: from £2.39 at Parcel2Go and £3.29 for 0 to 1kg at Evri. CitySprint scores 9 with an instant quote tool. Pall-Ex and Yodel (by InPost) score 6, with a quote request or a send section but no price. For a small business sender, the number is the first thing they look for.
Review volume is enormous, replies are rare
Recipients review carriers, so volumes are huge: about 5.7 million for Evri and about 3 million for Yodel (by InPost). Only CitySprint replied to most of its latest 20 reviews (14) and it scores 10. Parcel2Go, Evri, Pall-Ex and Yodel (by InPost) replied to none of their latest 20, which caps their review scores at 6 or below.
Paid splits the field cleanly
Parcel2Go and Evri score 10 for paid, with about 200 and about 2,000+ Google ads in 30 days, and CitySprint scores 8 with 23. Pall-Ex and Yodel (by InPost) had no Google ads and no active Meta ads in the period checked. The two brands with no ads are the two at the bottom of the board.
Accounts do the work of email
Only Parcel2Go has a newsletter signup. The others capture senders through accounts instead: Evri’s SME and Frequent Seller accounts, CitySprint’s business sign-up and Yodel’s app. Pall-Ex has no capture point at all. Accounts suit repeat senders, but without a list these brands cannot reach a lapsed customer by email.
Key lessons for any courier, haulage or logistics business
Show a price before the enquiry
Parcel2Go and Evri put a starting price on their homepages and both score 10 for website. Pall-Ex asks for a tailored quote and scores 6. A local courier can publish simple starting rates, such as a same-day run within the town, and keep custom quotes for anything unusual.
Compare yourself with the obvious alternative
Evri prices its service against Royal Mail on its homepage and states the date it checked the rival’s prices. A local courier can do the same against the national carriers for the routes it runs most often, as long as the comparison is accurate and dated.
Answer your reviews
CitySprint replies to most reviews and holds 4.9 from 18,567. Pall-Ex has not replied to any of its latest 20 and sits at 1.8. A small courier that answers every review, especially about late or damaged items, shows future customers how problems are handled.
Reward repeat senders
Parcel2Go adds a 2% bonus to £200 of prepaid credit and Evri offers up to 50% off for 40 or more parcels a month. A local firm can offer a simple account with a monthly invoice or a small volume discount for regular business customers.
Check your own footer
CitySprint’s Facebook icon links to facebook.com rather than its own page, and Yodel’s homepage links to no social profiles at all. Test every link on your site once a quarter, including social icons and booking buttons, so a customer who wants to follow or book with you can.
Steal this playbook
Five moves from this leaderboard, ranked by return on effort.
- Publish starting prices on your homepage. The two brands that show a price score 10 for website, and the two that do not score 6.
- Reply to every review. CitySprint is the only brand that replies to most of its latest 20 and the only one to score 10 for reviews.
- Offer an account for regular senders. Parcel2Go and Evri use accounts, prepay bonuses and volume discounts to bring senders back.
- Fix and test your social links. CitySprint’s broken Facebook link and Yodel’s missing links are easy losses to avoid.
- Run a small, steady search ad budget. The two brands with no ads in the period checked are the two lowest on the board.

How we scored
Who is on the board. Five UK delivery brands a small business sending goods is likely to use, spanning models: a national parcel carrier selling direct to SMEs (Evri, formerly Hermes), a national carrier mid-rebrand under new ownership (Yodel, now run by InPost Delivery Network Limited), a same-day courier network with 26 service centres (CitySprint), a member-owned pallet network (Pall-Ex) and an online parcel comparison platform (Parcel2Go). Chosen for relevance and size, not marketing strength. Brands were chosen for relevance and size, not for marketing strength.
- Social: which platforms the brand links to from its own site, and whether we could see recent posting and video.
- Website: 2 for a brochure page, 4 with a contact route on mobile, 6 with a page per service and a one-step enquiry, 8 with prices or ranges and registration numbers shown, 10 with online booking or an instant priced quote.
- Email: visible capture only, as we did not subscribe test inboxes for this edition. 2 for a bare newsletter form, up to 10 for a loyalty or app ecosystem with personal offers.
- SEO: ten UK searches for this trade, run through a standard web search API on 12 October 2026 (not personalised, no location set beyond the town in the query); we counted how many returned the brand’s own site in the top ten results. 0 of 10 scores 2, 1 to 2 scores 4, 3 to 4 scores 6, 5 to 6 scores 8, 7 or more scores 10, plus 1 for a substantial advice library. The searches: cheap parcel delivery UK; send a parcel UK; same day courier UK; pallet delivery UK; business parcel delivery account; same day courier London; courier Manchester; pallet delivery Birmingham; parcel collection Leeds; same day courier Glasgow.
- Paid: the Google Ads Transparency Centre (UK, last 30 days, by domain) and the Meta Ad Library (UK, active ads whose text names the brand, counted by the advertiser page). 2 for nothing found in either, 4 for active in one with fewer than 10 ads, 6 for active in both or 10+ in one, 8 for active in both with 10+ in at least one, 10 for 50+ Google ads and 10+ Meta ads. Paid describes visible activity, not quality. A low paid score is not a fault.
- Reviews: a fixed formula. Rating (4.7+ scores 4, 4.5 to 4.69 scores 3, 4.0 to 4.49 scores 2, 3.5 to 3.99 scores 1) plus volume (10,000+ scores 4, 1,000+ scores 3, 100+ scores 2, 20+ scores 1) plus replies to the latest 20 reviews (half or more scores 2, some scores 1).
- Brand: five checks worth 2 each: the same name and logo everywhere, one clear positioning line, a distinctive asset used for years, three or more independent press mentions in 90 days, and named people or expertise on the site.
These anchors are fixed for this edition, so the five scores can be read against each other. Boards published before October 2026 used scores relative to the other brands on the board, so compare across boards with care.
Common questions
Which logistics or courier brand scores highest on the Whito leaderboard?
Parcel2Go scores highest of the five UK logistics and courier brands compared, at 7.3 out of 10, ahead of Evri at 7.0. It shows a starting price on its homepage, quotes instantly, gives senders several reasons to register and appeared in 4 of our 10 UK searches. The score measures public marketing evidence, not delivery performance.
Which delivery brand scores lowest?
Yodel (by InPost) scores lowest at 3.0 out of 10. Its operating company was renamed InPost Delivery Network Limited on 25 June 2026, and its homepage showed no social links and no prices. We found no Google or Meta ads for it in the period checked, and none of the latest 20 Trustpilot reviews had a reply.
How do courier brands perform on reviews?
Volumes are huge because recipients review the carrier: about 5.7 million reviews for Evri and about 3 million for Yodel (by InPost). Replies are rare. Only CitySprint replied to most of its latest 20 Trustpilot reviews, and with a 4.9 rating from 18,567 it is the only brand to score 10 for reviews.
What can a small courier or haulage firm copy from these brands?
Publish a starting price, as Parcel2Go and Evri do. Reply to every review, as CitySprint does. Offer regular business senders an account or a small volume discount. And check your website’s social links, since CitySprint’s Facebook icon and Yodel’s homepage show how easily that channel is lost.
Should a pallet or haulage firm publish prices online?
The evidence points that way. Pall-Ex, the pallet network on this board, asks for a tailored quote and scores 6 for website, while the parcel brands that show a starting price score 10. Pallet prices vary more, but a guide price for a standard pallet on common routes gives a small business something to compare before it calls.
