This guide reports what each vendor published on its own pricing page on 23 September 2026. Four of the seven vendors we checked publish no price at all.
The mistake: comparing software on features before you know whether you can see a price. On a public job, the software cost goes into your tender price. If a vendor will not publish one, you cannot compare it until you have sat through a sales call.
Who publishes a price in pounds
| Vendor | Published price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Fieldwire by Hilti | Basic £0, Pro £33, Business £54, Business Plus £76 per user a month | Billed annually (pound prices shown when the page currency is set to British Pound) |
| Dashpivot (Sitemate) | For 11 to 30 users: Standard £21.24, Pro £36.54, Premium £51.84, Platinum £67.14 per user a month | On a 1-year term. On a monthly term the same plans are £23.60, £40.60, £57.60 and £74.60 |
Both price per user. A 20-person site team on Fieldwire Pro would be 20 × £33 = £660 a month on annual billing. On Dashpivot Pro, 1-year term, it would be 20 × £36.54 = £730.80 a month. Check whether VAT is added before you compare.
Who publishes a price, but only in dollars
| Vendor | Published price | What is missing |
|---|---|---|
| Asite | Common Data Environment “Starting at $70 per user” (about £52). Marketplace “Starting at $850” (about £627). 3D Repo “Starting at $50 per user” (about £37) | No billing period and no pound price on the page we read |
Who publishes no price
| Vendor | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Procore | Quote only. Annual contracts with unlimited users and unlimited storage; its Field Productivity product is priced separately by full-time equivalent |
| Autodesk construction software | “Get a Quote” on every bundle, with “flexible user, project, and account-based pricing” |
| Oracle Aconex | “Request a demo” and “Contact us”. No price shown |
| Causeway | “Contact sales”. No price shown |
What this means for a smaller infrastructure firm
The vendors that publish a price are field and site tools priced per user. The big platforms price by quote, usually on annual contracts. That is not a judgement on the software. It does mean the only numbers you can put in a bid today, without a sales call, come from the first two tables.
Before you buy, ask three things: the price per user or per project, the contract length, and whether subcontractors can use it free. If a firm on your job is running a common data environment, you may be invited in as a guest rather than paying for your own licence. Ask.
Takeaway: if you cannot see the price, you cannot put it in your bid.
Method. We opened each vendor’s own pricing or product page on 23 September 2026 and recorded only what was published there. For Fieldwire we set the page currency to British Pound. For Dashpivot the page defaulted to pounds and a 1-year term for 11 to 30 users; we also read the monthly-term figures.
Limits. Prices change, and the price on a page is not always the price you pay. We did not check VAT treatment, discounts or minimum user numbers. This is not a recommendation of any product, and no vendor paid to appear.
