Published 18 October 2026. Edition 1. 89 pages. Free to download, no email asked for. UK Marketing Prices 2027 puts thirteen Whito price studies in one book: what UK agencies, software vendors, creator platforms and local trades publish about their prices, and what AI engines say those things cost.
Every price in it was read on a firm’s own website on a stated day between June and October 2026. Each chapter is the study as it stood on whito.co.uk on 18 October 2026, with the words, tables and figures unchanged.

The thirteen findings
One sentence from each study, as published. Each is free to quote with a link to its chapter’s live page.
- 128 published prices from 47 UK providers, read in June 2026: the median published SEO price across all 45 data points is £799 a month, and the median one-off price across 28 published website packages is £520. Chapter 1.
- 47 of 50 UK marketing agencies publish no price anywhere, 94%, and only two publish a complete price list, according to Whito's July 2026 check of the top five agencies in ten UK cities. Published SME retainers run from £999 to £2,500 a month. Chapter 2.
- Of 39 UK agency pricing pages read on 29 September 2026, 19 do not say how you leave, and one publishes a setup fee. Chapter 3.
- On 1 October 2026 the brand-name marketing stack for a one-person UK business cost £2,667 a year before VAT, and tools doing the same five jobs cost £1,319.73. Chapter 4.
- A five-person UK service business pays about £2,635 a year including VAT for a standard software stack, roughly £44 per person per month, while a credible sole-trader stack costs about £18 a month, according to Whito's price check of 50 tools on 2 July 2026. Chapter 5.
- Of 35 UGC and creator platforms read on 12 October 2026, 17 publish no price at all and only 3 let a business work out the full cost of a first order from the page alone. Chapter 6.
- On 8 October 2026, the only figure in pounds in OpenAI's ChatGPT Ads help centre was a £15 minimum daily budget; of 19 ranking ChatGPT ads cost guides Whito read, 6 quoted it and none linked to the OpenAI article that lists it. Chapter 7.
- Fewer than half, 45.5 per cent, of 200 independent UK small business websites across ten trades and ten cities publish any price at all, and 0 of 20 plumbers publish a single figure, Whito's August 2026 price transparency study found. Chapter 8.
- 117 of 179 emergency plumber websites checked across eight UK towns published no call-out price at all on 2 October 2026. Chapter 9.
- 113 of 135 emergency electrician websites checked across eight UK towns published no call-out price at all on 2 October 2026. Chapter 10.
- 43 of the 70 UK locksmith websites that publish any emergency price said only no call-out charge on 2 October 2026; the median published price is £0. Chapter 11.
- Of 197 heating engineer websites checked across eight UK towns on 3 October 2026, 146 published no boiler service price at all. Chapter 12.
- Asked 44 UK marketing cost questions on 6 October 2026, no AI engine got more than 74% right, and 33 of 115 software answers quoted US dollars for tools that show UK buyers a price in pounds. Chapter 13.

What the 2027 in the title means
This edition is the reference to plan 2027 budgets against. It is not a forecast. Every price was read between June and October 2026 and carries its own date. Prices change, so check the live page or the firm’s own price page before you rely on a figure.
What this book does not do
- It does not add new data. Every figure is from a study already published on whito.co.uk.
- It does not include the data files behind the studies. Those stay with each study.
- It does not carry later corrections. A correction is made on the live study page, dated, and goes into the next edition.
- It is not purchasing advice. A published price is what a firm said on one day, not what you will pay.
