What it does not do

It does not do keyword research. It does not analyse competitors. It does not tell you what to write next. It tells you how your site is performing right now. That is its job, and it does it better than anything else.

What is good

What is good

Nothing else comes close for understanding why your competitors rank higher than you. Site Explorer shows you their backlinks, their top-performing pages, and the keywords driving their traffic. Watch out for

It is expensive and there is no free trial. You are committing £99 a month before you know if you will use it properly. If you do not know what a referring domain is or why anchor text matters, you will be paying for a tool you cannot use effectively. This is a professional-grade platform. It rewards expertise.
